What is Haawe?
Haawe Boutique Apart Hotel is a design hotel in Finnish Lapland. We offer accommodation in individually decorated rooms in a historical building located right in the centre of Rovaniemi.
We do not have a traditional 24/7 reception desk. However, we are at your service at the hotel each day, and we welcome each guest to Haawe in person.
How can I book a room in Haawe?
You can make a room reservation directly on our website at www.haawe.fi or by using a booking site that we are on (booking.com, expedia.com, hotels.com). Naturally, you can also make the reservation by calling or emailing us, if you prefer.
The rooms are paid in advance upon reservation. We do not normally take bookings or payments on site.
How can I cancel my room reservation?
To cancel your room reservation, please call or email us. Please remember to include your reservation number in the email!
- If you cancel your reservation at least 48 hours prior to the starting time, we will refund the reservation fee in its entirety.
- If you cancel your reservation at least 24 hours prior to the starting time, we will refund 50% of the reservation fee.
- If you cancel your reservation less than 24 hours prior to the starting time, we will unfortunately not refund the reservation fee.
NOTE! Reservations made for the high season (from 1 November to 31 March) cannot be cancelled.
Arrival
If Haawe does not have a reception desk, how will I get the keys to my room, and how can I contact the personnel when needed?
The main entrance door and the doors to the rooms use keyless electric locks that open with a code. We will send these codes to our guests 24 hours prior to the start time of their booking.
We are at our guests’ service on site daily from noon to 9 p.m. The reception lobby has a reception button next to the entrance door. You can reach our personnel by pressing this button.
Is it possible to receive the door code sooner than within 24 hours of my arrival?
We can also send you the door code sooner, if necessary. Feel free to contact us, and we will take care of it.
How do I check-in?
Your room is available to you from 4 p.m. on the day of your arrival. Haawe does use any check-in formalities, so you can go straight to your room and settle in.
How does the check-out work?
The room is available to you until 11:30 a.m. on the day of your departure. Checking out is easy: just leave the room and close the door.
Leisure time and getting around
Is there breakfast at Haawe?
There is no restaurant at Haawe, but each room has a well-equipped kitchen, and the room rate includes breakfast supplies, such as cereal, oat flakes, coffee/tea, bread, juice, milk, salami, cheese, and butter.
In case you have any food allergies or special diets, please let us know about them at least two days before your arrival, so that we can take them into account in the breakfast supplies
Does Haawe have left luggage facilities?
Yes. You can leave your suitcases in our storage, if you arrive before the room is available to you, or if you need a place to keep your luggage after check-out. The left luggage facilities are located on the K floor.
The left luggage facilities feature lockable storage boxes for suitcases. You can set a temporary pass code for the storage box.
Does Haawe offer parking spaces?
Haawe has free parking for guests behind the building (access between Haawe main entrance and Arctic Design shop). Parking space is not guaranteed. In case you need a parking space, please inform us when booking your room. When you arrive, you can park your car in any available parking space in our parking area. To get free parking, then contact us and tell us your booking number and the car’s registration number.
How can I get to Haawe from the Rovaniemi Airport?
There are two ways to get to Haawe from the airport:

- Airport shuttle bus: Arctic Light Hotel is the closest stop, 100 metres from Haawe. For further information about airport shuttle buses, please visit airportbus.fi
How can I get to the Santa Claus Village from Haawe?
You can visit the Santa Claus Village by bus. The stop for bus number 8 and the Santa’s Express buses is located on the Aallonkatu street, approx. 100 metres from Haawe. These buses run on a daily basis.
You can also call a taxi. You can call a taxi by pressing the taxi button in the lobby.
