Haawe Boutique Apart Hotel is a private, family-owned design hotel in Rovaniemi, Finnish Lapland. The concept of Haawe combines the magical atmosphere Lapland with high-quality design solutions. Haawe has 14 individually designed rooms inspired by Lapland’s nature, each with its own backstory. We wish to take our guests on a journey through Lapland’s seasons and natural phenomena – auroras, snowdrifts, waterfalls, and forests – in a completely new way.
Haawe is located in a functionalist building completed in 1933. It is one of the few houses in the Rovaniemi city area that was not destroyed in the Second World War. In Haawe, we wated to realize our dreams of creating a unique, high-quality accommodation and giving this valuable old building a new life it deserves. Behind the transformation to a modern, stylish hotel, is Franz Design.
Haawe have won in 3 categories in World Luxury Hotel Awards and it has been covered in several international design publications. In 2020, Haawe received the cityscape award from city of Rovaniemi for exemplary restoration of a historic building.
