The location of Haawe is particularly ideal in case you want to discover the stories of the city. Rovaniemi offers a variety of cultural activities, high-class museums, and cosy cafés. There are seven restaurants within a radius of 50 metres of Haawe, from a Mediterranean bistro to a restaurant offering Lapland’s delicacies, from a Chinese restaurant to an artisan pizzeria. While shopping in the city centre and at the Arctic Circle, you can purchase the same design items that decorate our rooms, and other Finnish design products. Many easily accessible activities are available for families with children, and the opportunity to meet Santa Claus in the flesh every day of the year is also of interest for many adults.
Nature is always nearby in Rovaniemi. You can visit and admire the landscapes that inspired the decoration of the rooms in Haawe directly from the hotel on foot. You can also visit forests on a mountain bike or a fat bike in the summer, and on snowshoes either on your own or on a guided excursion in the winter. Programme services offer a variety of activities all year – naturally, also snowmobile, husky and reindeer safaris that you can enjoy while admiring the Northern Lights.
