Terms and Conditions

The general terms and conditions below apply for reservations made by an individual, private person unless a special agreement has been made. For group reservation, please contact: info@haawe.fi.

The hotel reserves the rights to apply special terms and conditions that differ from these in case of public holidays, special events, seasonality or additional services require so.

Booking and Confirmation

The booking shall be treated as confirmed when the full payment in advance has been provided. When reserving a room your name, address, arrival- and departure time and method of payment are required.

A room reservation is binding once it has been confirmed verbally or in writing and you have received a reservation confirmation number. The hotel is entitled to apply credit card guarantee in order to secure the reservation

Arrival and Departure

The hotel room is at your disposal from 4:00 pm on the day of arrival. On your departure day the room must be vacated by 11:30 am. The reception time of hotel is from 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm (Finnish time). 24 hours before the guest’s arrival we will send them a passcode for entering the hotel and their room as well. The hotel is entitled to apply exceptions on check-in and check-out times stated above. For safety reasons, only checked-in guests are allowed on private premises and the maximum capacity per room may not be surpassed.

Guaranteed Reservation

Credit card guarantee is required for all bookings when confirming the reservation. To guarantee the reservation the hotel will need the following information: your name, credit card number, credit card expiry date, credit card CVC/CVV code, address, phone number and email address. The hotel may acquire your contact details verbally or in writing.

Credit card used for guaranteeing the stay may also be used for charging any incurred costs related to cancelled or no-show reservations.

Cancellation and No Arrival

1st April to 31st October: if not agreed otherwise, an international credit card number is required as a reservation guarantee. Reservation can be cancelled free of charge 48 hours prior to the arrival day. If you cancel your reservation 24 hours prior to the arrival day, we will withhold 50% of the price of the booked stay. No-show fee: 100% reservation fee.

1st November to 31st March: Reservation is paid 100% with credit card in advance. Deposit payment is non-refundable in the event of cancellation or no-show.

Different policies may apply for different rates, events or periods.

NOTE! Reservations made for the high season (from 1st November to 31st March) are non-refundable.

Responsibility on Your Valuables

The hotel can store your luggage before check-in or after checkout. The maximum storage time is 8 hours. The hotel is entitled to collect a charge for storage after 8 hours.

Your valuables can be stored in a safety deposit box in your room.

In case the items you wish to store are exceptionally valuable you must notify the hotel before storing. The hotel may refuse to store this kind of valuables.

The hotel is not responsible for valuables stored in a safety deposit box in your room.

The hotel is not responsible for items left in the rooms or in the hotel’s common areas. The guests must always make sure the doors are locked when leaving the room or the hotel.

The hotel is not responsible for damage or disappearance of vehicles kept in the garage or the hotel’s parking area or valuables inside the vehicle.

Guest Behaviour in the Hotel

We follow good manners and hotel rules at the hotel. In case of breaking these rules you may be immediately removed from the premises. In such cases you are still obliged to pay for the accommodation and additional services ordered. You are not eligible to claim a refund for payments already made.

For safety reasons, only checked-in guests are allowed on private hotel premises such as hotel rooms and the maximum capacity per room may not be surpassed.

Guest’s Responsibility on Damage

As a guest you are responsible for damage caused on purpose or by accident by you, your guest in the hotel room or in hotel premises. This applies also to the hotel furniture and other equipment, other guests in the hotel or their property.

The responsibility for caused damage is determined by general principles.

Renting Hotel Rooms for Minors

Only a person over the age of 18 is allowed to make a reservation. The adult making a reservation for a person under the age of 18 will be held responsible for the minor, whether he or she accommodates with the minor or not. An underage person travelling alone will need a letter of consent signed by a guardian. The letter has to include the minor’s name, birthday and dates of arrival and departure. The name and contact information of a guardian are also required.

Food and Beverage

The customer is fully liable for the food and drinks brought along by themselves being fit for consumption and absolves the hotel in this respect from any claims by third party. The hotel undertakes no liability for the shelf life of the food which is taken away to the Suites, excluding our refrigerator offer.

No Smoking

Haawe Boutique Apart Hotel is a smoke-free hotel, Guests are not permitted to smoke in rooms or public areas.The hotel is entitled to collect fine for smoking in rooms or public areas.

Pets

Pets are not allowed at the Haawe Boutique Apart Hotel.

Force Majeure

Haawe Boutique Apart Hotel accepts no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of terrorism, fire or failure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, plant machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures
