This room is filled with the gorgeous warm colours of autumn all year round. There is a separate shower room between the living area and the sleeping area, dividing the space and creating privacy for both sides. Its rain shower gently awakes you to a new day or lulls you to peaceful sleep. This room can also accommodate up to four persons: the sofa in the living area can be used as an extra bed for up to two persons.

What does “ruska” mean?
“Ruska” refers to the spectacle of colours of broadleaf trees and twigs, taking place from the beginning to the middle of September in Rovaniemi. Plants store their chlorophyll in their stems, blazing in yellow and orange for a moment before their leaves falling off.
Hiking is a delight during this time: you can pick mushrooms, blueberries and lingonberries while admiring the splendour of colours. The Ounasvaara Hill has the closest berry forest to Haawe, and it is a great place to hike during the time of the autumn colours. You can also spot reindeer on your excursion. The animals and their huge antlers are at their most handsome in the autumn.
